Marc Wachsmuth, Partner and co-founder of Capital-E. His current investment focus is on Medical & Diagnostics, Communications and Consumer Electronics. Prior to Capital-E, Marc was an Executive Investment Manager within the Venture Capital ICT team of Gimv for 6 years and before within the growth capital team for 2 year. Beside the investments in 7 ICT companies, of which 3 were divested, he focused on setting up strategic partnerships with funds in Asia (Japan, Taiwan), Israel and research organizations such as IMEC. Earlier, Marc was Business Manager for the French ICT service company Altran Technologies, where he helped with the successful deployment of the company in Belgium. Before that, Marc worked with Atlas Copco for 4 years, based mainly in Japan in charge of business development and project management for the Southeast Asian region. Marc holds engineering degrees from the Universities of Brussels (VUB) and Liège (ULG), a Master of Science degree from the Cranfield Institute of Technology in the UK as well as a postgraduate degree in finance from the Solvay Business School (ULB).
